This 20-year-old single cask Ballechin is another fine example of the heavily peated beauties the Edradour distillery produces. Matured in first-fill Port pipe, it was filled into 691 bottles at 54.7% ABV, cask strength, natural colour, and un-chill-filtered. Interestingly, this whisky was distilled and bottled on the same day exactly twenty years apart: 25 July (2004-2024). Ideal for someone whose birthday is then.
