A deeply indulgent wine-cask Highlander from Edradour Distillery. Distilled in 2013 and matured in first-fill Burgundy hogsheads, this small batch release layers rich berry fruit and velvety wine influence over Edradour’s famously weighty, oily spirit. Bottled in April 2026 at 46% ABV.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Raspberry compote, black cherry, dark chocolate truffles, and vanilla cream, with polished oak and clove spice.
Palate: Blackberry jam, malt loaf, cocoa powder, and red grape sweetness, balanced by nutmeg and gentle tannin.
Finish: Dark berries, soft oak dryness, and baking spice.
