Tamnavulin Cabernet Sauv Bottling Note
Number four in Tamnavulin's Red Wine Cask Edition range. This Speyside single malt Scotch whisky was initially matured in American oak, before a finishing period in casks that previously held some bold, meaty American cabernet sauvignon. Plenty of red fruits and oak character here.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose: Black Forest gateaux, with soft vanilla, and toasted oak.
Palate: Fresh cherries, blackberries, fig, and some silky caramel.
Finish: Allspice and jammy forest fruits.
