Tobermory 17yo Olorosso Bottling Note
Sherried single malt from the isle of Mull here, distilled by the tremendous Tobermory! This delicious Island single malt was distilled in 2004, and has been fully matured in Oloroso sherry casks for 17 years, eventually being bottled up at cask strength – a weighty 55.9% ABV. Juicy berry and festive spices notes abound. Reckon it'll make a marvellous autumnal dram, or a great winter warmer
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose: Fragrant raspberries and blackberries, with malty vanilla and toasted cassia underneath.
Palate: Christmas cake, toffee, Lion Bars, and subtle whiffs of dry oak.
Finish: Lingering tangy orange, festive spices, and a touch of leather.
