Tomintoul 15 Year Old Portwood Single Malt Whisky

From The Whisky Exchange (link)

A 2006 Tomintoul single malt that was initally matured in ex-bourbon casks and finished in ex-Port pipes, before being bottled at 15-years-old. Aromas of brambles, red cherry, toasted brioche and amoretti biscuits fill the nose, complemented by notes of cherry Bakewell, dark fruits, marzipan, clove and pink peppercorn throughout the palate.

From Masters of Malt (link)

15 year old whisky from the Tomintoul distillery, finish in Port casks to impart some sweet, juicy, fragrant notes to the Speyside single malt. Ace.
